In the land of the FREE...

I am no politician nor I know anything about politics. Even worst, I am not even American but I happen to be living here today where all media speaks no other thing but Elections.

What I find very interesting is that these elections are not between two parties but between two candidates from the same party! Living in the US is clear how the Republican Party does not exist. They have very weak-image candidates, nobody remembers their names or how they look, much less what their proposals are. Certainly their marketing skills need to improve.

On the other hand the Democrat party has taken over the media with two very strong candidates who have managed to center stage. These two politicians have a good marketing strategy, clear objectives and successful tactics. Both have taken time to plan their campaign and surrounded themselves with key professional people.

Much has been written about both comparing them as PC and MAC or as Experience versus Charisma. What is relevant to the world, not only the US, is the fact that contenders themselves are representing two groups that historically have always faced difficulties women and black people.

I have no political affiliation, actually I dislike politics but with so much noise around I cannot help but give my opinion: In today’s world Marketing is king and in today’s world there are more Microsoft users than Mac users, in today’s world there are more women than black people.

The American society will vote and the majority will NOT vote for Hillary Rodham Clinton but they will vote for Ms. Clinton. At this moment in time the US needs to regain confidence in itself (devaluating currency) and clean up its international image (Irak war) not to try new, unknown things even when they may good. Mr. Barack Obama I hope you have enough patience to wait four years for your turn to move into the WHITE house and change history.
