One of the things I like the most about NYC is its diversity but very seldom we take advantage of it. Yesterday I did. My french friend Jean Yves organized for a group of friends to visit a SALSA CLUB called SOB's (stands for South of Brazil, don't get me wrong).
The venue is very nice and conveniently located in Houston and Varick. Entrance is $15, drinks $10. It is in this palce where famopus latins come play in NYC such as CAFE TACUBA next month. But the best of all is to see people dance! They really are professionals, some dress up some don't but everyone has a good time. No matter how old or young, rich or poor, you just go there and dance. No social pressure, just fun and PURE dance.
Definately rithm was created in Latinamerica. Iam still shaking my hips...
