In 1984 and after 10 years of working for Anne Klein, Donna Karan left and started her own company. Today she holds creative management of her emporium but has sold the brands to luxury conglomerate LVMH. I see this more as an HONOR as the group shows preference towards European brands.
For the next 3 months and as part of my master program I will be joining DKNY for 120 hours in the sales accesories department.
I hope I get to meet her and learn her secret and how she did it all....
